canaries, the color of the

plumage color can change

contains a coloring agent

couple of times a week when

About Quiko Egg Food
Enhancers
Two
Quiko products are
designed to enhance
the food and improve
palatability: Quiko
Rusk and Quiko
Carrots. These two
products serve the
same purpose and are
interchangeable.
They act as moisture
carriers to moisten
and extend the egg
food.
Rusk is a hard baked
what crumble that
retains shape and
holds moisture when
soaked in water for
3-4 minutes. Carrots
are pure carrots in
a pelleted form.
When soaked for
20-30 minutes they
crumble to a moist
mash.
Once either of these
enhancers is soaked
in water it is mixed
with the egg food at
a rate of 1 part
enhancer to three
parts egg food. The
mixture can then be
refrigerated up to
one week.

A pure, hard baked dry
